[French series] Cocoon

Cocoon came HK once for French May in 2010
OK. I missed it again

Cocoon is a French band that made me start noticing French music.
It is formed in 2006 by Mark Daumail (composition, lead vocals, acoustic guitar, ukelele, banjo, beatbox, etc.) and Morgane Imbeaud (vocal harmonies, keyboards, arrangements).
Although they are French musician, they sing in English.

It is a very special band because it is a male-female duet band in folk music, which is very rare combination. Their gentle, soft sweet singing combined with ukulele, beautiful harmony and cute melody made me so in love with them <3

They released two album - My Friend All Died in Plane Crash (2007) and Where the Ocean End (2009)

Also, they cover a lot of song and make some rearrangement, which gives a whole new feeling.

John Williams Tribute - Corey Vidal Acappella Cover

This is for Star War fans.

John Williams is the most famous and my favourite score composer.
He composed for Star War series, Superman, Jaws, Harry Potter,  Jurassic Park, ET and Indiana Jones series.
He is a real genius. Great movies can't live without great score !
[May be i can do John Williams series later XD]

Corey Vidal made a awesome acappella cover for John William Tribute.
All melody came from John William's famous score eg. Close Encounters of the Droid Kind, Super Han, ET, Jaws and Jurassic Darth
And lyrics is so hilarious. You will understand after you watched all the episodes of Star War. -_-+

Greg Pattillo

Again, another great YouTube musician !
Greg Pattillo is well known for Beatbox flute.
He currently work with his band Project Trio, in which Eric Stephenson - Cello and Peter Seymour - Double Bass.

He loves to play flute since very young age.
Then, he moved to NewYork to seek the oppourtunity of being flautist.

He worked in grocery store and played flute in subway during lunch break.

And found that beatbox flute let him earn lots of tips.
He started sharing on YouTube and this lets him gain huge reputation.
YouTube also interviewed him in YouTube 5 Years event.



I love the combination of Beatbox flute and cello :D 

I love their passionate, creative and cute performance.

He is not just a street musician. Pattillo earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music.

He came HK once in 2008 but i missed it  T-T

Mozart, l'opéra rock ("Mozart, the rock opera") is a hit French musical on tour in France, Belgium and Switzerland from 2009.

It has original songs written specifically for the musical, and also the compilation of the most beautiful works of Amadeus Mozart.

They put modern rock and classical element together in both visual and audio aspect.
They did reli great job no matter costume, music and mv.

Ronald Jenkees is one of my all time favourite youtube musician.
He is well known for stunning keyboard improv and pieces
